  1. PCjr SPEEDUP USING THE NEC V20 REPLACEMENT MICROPROCESSOR CHIP

  3. The NEC V20 is a microprocessor chip that replaces the Intel 8088.  The 8088 
  4. is the regular main chip that comes in the IBM PC and PCjr and most 
  5. compatibles.  This archive disk, V20JR.ARC, contains the following files:

  18. The main file in this set, V20JR.TXT, is formated with page breaks, margins, 
  19. etc.  To print it out, just enter "TYPE V20JR.TXT >PRN" or "COPY V20JR.TXT 
  20. LPT1:".  The test results are for a PCjr, but comparable results may be 
  21. expected from installing the V20 chip in a PC or compatible.  For more
